Who we are

The Bridge Preschool is a preschool located in the village of Lugalo, in the South-East of Tanzania. The school, the only one in the range of kilometers which interests children in prescholastics age, offers an educational environment for the development of cognitive, social and affective capacities. We believe that the early years play a critical and fundamental role in the development of personality, learning, and social skills of the child. Our intention is to create a space tailored for the small ones, where they have opportunity to see enhanced their work, their ideas and their emotions, into a dimension of community.

The school also aims to establish channels of communication between the village and the rest of the world. We nurture our students to acquire the awareness of living in a multi-cultural planet, in order to mature, together with the sense of identity, the respect for each different reality of every child of the Earth. By discussing and admiring together the incredible variety of customs and traditions that differentiates us, our children will then be able to make use of creativity and enthusiasm to draw their innovative vision of the world, with a more free and imaginative approach than any previous generation.
